The State of the Arts: Addressing the Arts in 21st Century Education

Welcome to North Carolina: the State of the Arts, Addressing the Arts in 21st Century Education Blog

The conference may be over but the real work begins. Let’s use this as a forum to transform our vision into action steps for the future.

From the N.C. Arts Council

The North Carolina Arts Council invites you to share ideas and suggestions on how we can better serve arts organizations and artists, how citizens can have more arts experiences in their daily life and how we can work together to build a stronger state through the arts.

We had a succesful public meeting in Greensboro last month. The following meetings are scheduled in other locations in the state:

<>Waynesville: Tuesday, April 17: Haywood Arts Regional Theatre

<>Rocky Mount: Tuesday, April 24: Imperial Center for the Arts & Sciences

<>Wilimington: Tuesday, May 1: Cameron Art Museum

All meetings start at 7 p.m. and will be facilitated by Executive Director Mary Regan.

We invite you to join us for the meetings and to visit our Web log to continue the discussion!
